The system is equipped with:

• 4 * Stud bolt welding heads
• 7 * automatic stud bolt sorting units

• 7 * automatic stud bolt supplier
• 3 * program controlled separators

The working range of the machine is appropriate from:

• Length from 200 to 2200 mm
• Width from 200 to1200 mm
• Hight from 2 mm to 160 mm

The machines axes X and Y as well as the auxiliary axes of the welding heads are arbitrarily programmable by the user over the operator monitor.

The machine axes X and Y are driven by the Siemens “Motion Control” system.

Each welding head is equipped with one pneumatic and additionally with one programmable auxiliary axis. The auxiliary axes are driven by Siemens Posmo Motors.

The operator panel is implemented as an Siemens PC panel. The panel contains an full-equipped PC, including the necessary interfaces. The operator surface is programmed in Visual basic and is one, for this special application developed BBK software.

The communication between PC panel and the machine controller Siemesn S7 – 300 is made by MPI, the communication between the auxiliary axes und the S7 controller is made by Profibus.

Up to 50 and more welding positions per workpiece are programmable in one work program. Recurrent work programmes can be stored under an free configurable designation in for it intended data bases.

These programs are thus always available and can be called up under the before defined designation again from the data bases. ( the designation can be for example, drawing No., name of component, special name, program No. e.g. )
